Harmony/Architecture
How Harmony works

One brain.
A coordinated fleet.

Central reasoning. Lightweight agents. A permission model between the two. The pieces work together so you can understand the problem and stay in control of the response.

Follow the work

From a question
to an action.

Explore the three responsibilities in the architecture.

Start with the available context.

The parent brings together the operator’s question and the information available from connected agents. The conversation gives the investigation a place to develop, with findings and next checks kept in context.

A useful answer starts with knowing what was actually observed.

The permission model

Confidence is not
authorization.

Permission is a deliberate boundary. The policy for the environment determines which capabilities can run and which require a decision.

Yes

Allowed by policy.

A permitted capability can proceed after validation, within its defined scope.

Example policy: read a service’s status.
Ask

Wait for a decision.

Review the proposed action before it runs. Approve it or decline it.

Example policy: restart a production service.
No

Stop at the boundary.

A blocked capability does not become allowed because the model recommends it.

Example policy: disallow a destructive action.
Your model. Your choice.

Choose where
the reasoning runs.

Harmony supports configured model providers, including hosted APIs and local models. Choose the connection that fits your environment.

Connect a supported provider.

Use a configured hosted model service for reasoning, while Harmony coordinates the operational workflow.

Requires the appropriate API access or supported integration. A consumer chat subscription does not automatically include API access.

One idea. Different environments.

Starting with the people
who run the systems.

The immediate focus is the operator. The wider ambition reaches from managed environments to the devices people rely on at home.

Current focus

MSPs and IT operators

Investigations, permission review, and coordinated work across managed environments.

Next

Small business and homelab

The same operational idea for smaller environments and the people who keep them running.

Longer term

Home and connected devices

Bringing the approach to more everyday devices. This is future direction, not a claim of current device support.

A few useful distinctions

Understand the
boundaries.

Does Harmony act without asking?

That depends on the capability and the environment’s policy. The architecture distinguishes allowed actions, actions requiring review, and blocked actions. Early access behavior and specific automation coverage should be confirmed for the intended workflow.

Do the current videos show a live repair?

The current recordings demonstrate the workspace and a review-and-denial flow using fictional data and scripted responses. They do not show a successful endpoint repair. Each demonstration includes its scope and limitations.

Can I use my existing AI subscription?

Harmony needs a supported integration or model API configuration. Access to a consumer chat application does not necessarily provide the API credentials or entitlement required.

Where should I start?

Watch the product demonstrations, read the founder story, and join the early access list. The videos show the current interface and the decisions an operator makes in it.
